Eric talks about Bob
(how to be a one percenter)
If you listened to my voice
spot then you know how I feel about my mentor, Bob Felicetti. I love
learning from him. Here is his story about what happened a few years ago.
A call from a referred client prospect asked to be pick up at 5 AM at
the train station. Bob was there for her; took her to breakfast 15 miles
away to the only place open at that hour. Jennifer was delighted with the
six South County RI homes Bob showed her and she made an offer that day on one in Exeter.
She requested an immediate response from the seller and accepted
the counter offer that same day.
Since her husband, Giancarlos, had accepted a position with the University
of Rhode Island, she needed to find a home near South Kingstown for her family fast. And,
she did with Bob’s help. Bob is very good in helping people relocate
to Rhode Island and South County.
Bob makes friends and is rewarded with recurring business. Jennifer’s
train was scheduled to leave late that evening. So, Bob brought her to his South Kingstown
home for dinner and then to the 10 PM train home. Since then, Bob and his
wife and Jennifer and Giancarlos have remained friends.
Since that first experience, Jennifer and Giancarlos have sold their property
in Exeter and purchased a home in Charlestown. Bob is their Realtor©. Now,
that’s
being a one percenter.

IFrom early on, Eric looked for mentors to help him fill his dream to become successful in helping people with their home purchases. After graduating from Dean College, he traveled and worked in the New York and Houston sports radio/television industries. His burning desire was to come back to South County, RI and work with people in the field of real estate.
Over the years Eric had heard many excellent stories from family and friends about Bob Felicetti and his work in Rhode Island real estate. After meeting Bob, he knew he had found the mentor that he was seeking. This began a strong six year working relationship. Bob is now retired yet still remains a strong mentor for Eric as they continue to be close friends.
Eric complimented Bob’s specialty training by becoming a specialist in “first time homebuyer” representation. This means that Eric keeps up to date with the latest in specialty mortgage programs and their providers and support professionals such as attorneys, home inspectors, insurance brokers, appraisers and contractors. He frequently works with others to present seminars for first time homebuyers.
Eric is active in the local communities including professional organizations including Realtor associations and Business Networking International, BNI, which is founded on the principle that “givers’ gain.”
“I love working with people and especially proud as the owner of Bob’s Team at Re/Max Flagship.”

It was my wife who introduced me to Rhode Island, her birthplace. After more than four years here, I’ve come to love South County and its beaches. They remind me of my own birthplace, Tampa, Florida but with the advantage of four seasons of beauty and a wonderful place to practice my hobbies of down-hill skiing, ocean surfing and kayaking and of course, golf.
We do lots of travelling where we get to know people from around the world. It the past few years my wire, Andrea, and I have visited Argentina, Uruguay and Mediterranean countries. Having come from a successful management career in the hospitality industry (you may have seen me at the Post Office Café in East Greenwich) I look forward to growing my second career in selling Rhode Island real estate.
Early on, I did return to Florida to earn my degree from St. Petersburg College and I did have an opportunity to live in Springfield, Missouri. These experiences give me the knowledge and insight to serve my real estate clients, many of whom move to Rhode Island for career opportunities in industry or education.
I’ve learned that it is all about relationships. I love to help people find what they want and need. Whether it is through the hospitality industry or though selling real estate; this is my greatest pleasure.
